Street Running in Lodi, California

Built in 1961 for the Chicago Rock Island & Pacific this EMD, GP18 carried the number 1349. In 1981, she was sold to Central California Traction Co. and was numbered 1795.

Built by Haskell and Barker in 1910 for the Western Pacific, the caboose was later sold to the Central California Traction Co. of Stockton, CA in 1948 and became number 19 until it was retired and sold in 1966. I found it at the Western Railway Museum located in Rio Vista, CA where it resides today. As you can see from the pictures, time has really taken its toll on the structure.
