Content must be railroad related. Articles include:
- Prototype Information
- Modeling Techniques
- Layout Tours
We are looking for complete and practical articles. For example, if you are writing a story on scratch building a crossing tower, the appropriate images and drawings should be included with the submitted content to be considered for publication.
Articles must meet these guidelines to be considered:
- Articles must be written in Microsoft Word© or a notepad type software with image instructions within the copy. Example: (Image: stairway.jpg should appear here)
- Submitted article must be original work
- Shortline Modelers Lounge pays using PayPal. You must have a PayPal account in order to get paid
- Article may be edited before publication

Image & Media Files
We can accept the following file formats:
- JPG
- PNG
- PSD
- GIF
- AI
- EPS
- MOV
- WMV
Once all of your content is gathered within your zipped folder, you can submit it here. Please note, the folder (compressed) should not exceed 5mb.
Payment & Acceptance
If your article is accepted, payment of $20 USD will be made during the first week of the month after your article has been posted. If in this time we find that the content you have submitted has been plagiarized, payment will not be made.
